Help me to setup the software to use the trimak motor

I am trying to install TMCL-IDE for windows. I am getting this error. Please help me in solving it.

This won't work with Windows 8 because the SystemParametersInfoForDpi functions is only available starting with Windows 10 as can be see here:

I saw Windows 7 or higher on one post of their website. That's clearly outdated info, because the required API didn't exist in that version

That 'll give the Analog marketing team a chance to spot that there is a question related to their road test (if they are following up)
