The RoadTest 100% Club: 3GHz Spectrum Analyzer - R&S®︎ FPC1000

What;s the RoadTest 100% Club? Simply, it's when all roadtesters write and post their reviews.

I've thought about this a lot over the last year: why is it important for all roiadtest reviews to be completed?

Roadtests that receive my person 100% Club tagging means to me that (a) I am choosing the right people to roadtest this product, (b) the roadtesters typify the professionalism of the RoadTest community and (c) a 100% rating provides a complete "review" of the product to benefit the element14 members and supplier.

I want to thank our 100% Club roadtesters:

rachaelp

I expect the 100% Club will grow in the coming weeks and months ahead.

Sincerely,

Randall Scasny

So actually you are the one that should get the badge - you selected the right testers. When, from a set of 5 testers, one doesn't post a review, its not the fault of the other four not to be in the 100…

I am happy to be a member of the Road Test 100% Club!

In my mind it is axiomatic that those selected to participate in an element14 Road Test have a personal and professional obligation to make every reasonable effort to complete and post a review. Included in that obligation is an expectation to communicate with Randall and his team about issues that could impact completion. Life happens, just be open about it.

I have enjoyed reading many Road Test reviews that clearly show the reviewers writing talent, dedication to the community, commitment to e14 and the vendor, and enthusiasm for engineering and technology.

On the other hand, I have struggled though other reviews where one or more, or all, of the enjoyable elements are missing or poorly represented.  But that is another topic.  The 100% Club is about all selected reviewers writing and posting reviews.

I have to agree with hlipka that a good chunk of the credit goes to rscasny for selecting testers that are likely to complete reviews. I suppose that historical track record comes into play when screening hopefuls gathered at the gate, but the gatekeeper has to have the skill to assess novice applicants and welcome the worthy into the fold. Making those decisions involves an uncertain balance between risk and intuition. I think Randall is doing a fine job as gatekeeper.
