This is a premium grade Hand Crimp Tool. This ratchet hand tool is a full cycle ratcheting hand tool ensures complete crimps. It is meant for low-volume users. This crimp tool works with a range of snap-on modules that mount to a common pistol or bench mounted holder. These modules can be easily changed to accommodate various connector styles.

This will be interesting for sure for this roadtest of this particular tool. Since crimps vary so much with the types of material, gauge and wire types-solid, stranded, copper, aluminum, etc. it will be nice to evaluate this one. The amount of human force to crimp, and the strength of the tool material itself under repeated use will be put to the test.

rscasny should I see the Write Review button active now? The orange button on this page is currently "Enrollment Closed" for me. It's strange because for other past RoadTests, for which I was not selected, I saw the orange button with "Write Review" text, after the enrollment process.

Yes, me too - I had a colleague that wouldn't pay for the crimp tool, and preferred to solder the crimps to the wire..... I preferred to spend my time with my family, so bought the crimping tool and made the cables in a fraction of the time, and probably better quality too. They were relatively pricey, but good, and worth the money in the time saved for me (I had a lot of connectors to make up!).
