Creation date:
Evaluation Type: Independent Products
Did you receive all parts the manufacturer stated would be included in the package?: True
What other parts do you consider comparable to this product?: Raspberry PI
What were the biggest problems encountered?: Lack of resources for those who are new to this device/deivces.
Detailed Review:
Shipping:
The packaging for the product was excellent. The board was encased in a nice foam sandwich, at the center with an anti-static baggie. The products box was shipped well inside of another box. Everything that was needed arrived without damage.
Documentation:
The documentation was extensive. All of it was available for download at Atmel's website. Readability of it was very technical and somewhat difficult for me to follow.
Tutorials:
I did not find very much for this product.
Interaction:
I found accessing the interface easy to do. The only thing missing in my opinion was a self-contained video output. I found it to be distant feeling when accessing the interface through terminal.
All in all, I found this product frustrating to use as someone who is new to this type of device. The lack of tutorials and newb oriented material would make me consider a Raspberry Pi for those who want to start with a similar device. The lack of a screen or easy video output makes it frustrating for me to interact with.
