What were the biggest problems encountered?: There is little documentation to help get this product working easily and quickly.

Detailed Review:

Thank you Element14 for selecting me for this road test. I was looking forward to this opportunity to write a really good first review, unfortunately this won't be possible. This product is one of the most complex kits I have had the chance to play with (I keep away from RPi and other Linux and SoC systems). While there are demo programs for both the C2000 and the BOOSTXL-DRV8301, there is little if any documentation to explain them. The code is not self explanatory and there is little comments in the code. All this leads to a system with a number or selector switches and inputs that don't have an easy way to know hoe they should all be used and a uC that can not be easily programmed.

This is not to say I have abandoned the kit, it will just take more time to get this kit to do something that I want it to do instead of just running some demo code. I will spend more time looking over what documentation there is available and see if something can be be done with kit. If I find something I will post it here either as an addition to the review or as a note below. I hope that further road tests that I may be selected for will bear better and more useful reviews. I know that this sounds like a let down and someone else who may have wanted this kit may feel this was a waste of a road test, I understand those sentiments and I apologize for that feeling.
