Detailed Review:

Test setup:

Power supply: BK precision 9205

Current probe: keysight 1146B

Picoscope 4000A was used for recording the data

System description:

the system is an inverter with an RL load connected. Inverter fundamental frequency is kept at 50Hz,200, and 1000Hz, and current probe data is compared with the clamp meter. point of interest was only with the current measurement, current through phase leg A was monitored. the assumption is taken that current is sinusoidal for comparison of values

Fundamental Frequency: 50Hz

Current measured through the current probe

observed peak:86A

clamp meter measurement

clamp meter shows 62A RMS (87.7A peak)

Fundamental Frequency: 200Hz

Current measured through the current probe

observed peak:33.4A

clamp meter measurement

clamp meter shows 22.7A RMS (32.1A peak)

Fundamental Frequency: 1000Hz

Current measured through the current probe

observed peak:26.2A

clamp meter measurement

clamp meter shows 17.8A RMS (25.17A peak)

DC source current measurement

Current measured through the current probe

clamp meter measurement

Voltage measurement

Conclusion: the higher fundamental frequency of the inverter clamp meter prior (fluke) had a bandwidth drop and measurement was not read after 1200Hz. MP60607 was giving comparable value even at 1000Hz (400Hz was specified on the datasheet)
