Poll: Are You Working on ADAS System Development in Your Professional Life?

Greetings. I am seeing there are an increase in the ADAS dev boards in the market now. As such, they could be candidates for a roadtest.

My question is should we or not roadtest them if the opportunity arises. An ADAS dev board fills a specific need and probably isn't something for general consumption like a Raspberry Pi would. So, I'd like to get a feel for the people who would have an interest and the need for this kind of dev board.

I had assumed that was what the acronym stood for, but it is good to stipulate it because earlier in my career I would have assumed it stood for analog data acquisition system and there are likely other interpretations.

I am for a Road-test for ADAS type of equipment with one stipulation. That would be to proceed it with a webinar to understand the perspective of the vendor. I see with a simple Google search a variety of different method involved from simply(tongue in cheek) having 4 cameras to more complex layout of sensors involved. So a bit of information could help the success of the audience involved IMHO.

While I'm not working on an ADAS project I would be very interested in using them and learning about them. Also after using and learning more about ADAS there would definitely more projects (hobby and possibly otherwise) that I could work on and explore with.

I am not working with ADAS but I am interested in the topic. Roadtesting an ADAS board could be the first step for young roadtesters for getting a taste of the field and be determined to step further in this very dynamic topic. I guess the ADAS roadtesting path should start with some simple ADAS components or boards, before entering the more complex ones.

I am working on a system that utilizes multiple different cameras(with different resolution and function) and environmental sensors and displays the information on a helmet mounted HUD. The only feature of an ADAS system that I would use is the camera/video processing parts.
