It is great to see a test equipment suitable for a wider audience in the RT program and also tax friendlier -being cheaper than other options that have been reviewed recently.

Good story Sean. Those tight projects are rewarding memories, especially if there were significant challenges to overcome.

Yep, anybody working around live circuits are taught to keep at least one hand in the pocket to keep an accidental touch from passing current through the heart.
Latest NFPA70 and OSHA regulations really help to reduce risks and protect the electrical worker.

I worked in engineering responsible for site equipment installation. We identified the on-site maintenance people by the guys standing around with their hands in their pockets. "Hey you must work in maintenance." Actually having their hands in their pockets was a good thing. You can't fk with things if you keep your hands in your pockets. You can't also kill yourself if you hands are in your pocket. 4Kv can kill if you poke a finger at a magnetron and ask "What is that?" No I am not talking about the transformers character either

I worked on crews that installed aviation electronic communication and navigation systems. I recall one cutover planes were still under control of air-traffic control in one tower while we cut them to over to another separate control tower. Sixty minutes of intense pressure, the culmination of 12 months of implementation.

Thank you for sparking a memory that was long gone dormant.
