A few months ago I read Makers: The New Industrial Revolution. It has me going thinking 3D printing is going to bring about a revolution, maybe one on part with what WWW over the Internet did? OTOH I remember ordering SLAs in the 90s. 3D printing has made that easier, so much so I suspect it's disrupting shops that produce SLAs. But is it really a revolution in manufacturing?
