I mentioned 49 but also that even 139 cant get you a good printer that I am aware of

These are some examples of what I get. The final price in Europe, buying pieces and assembling is 250 Euro (including taxes, custom etc.) and is the cheapest price with a reasonable quality I found.

Internal filling with 3.5 mm honeycomb; flexible and lightweight piece.

Another piece, with a larger fill, while internal honeycomb is for support.

Finished plastic shell for some electronic components (the project Hugo) internal filling is 3.5 mm honeycomb again. Not yet refined, just finished printing.

250€ sounds really cheap!

Well, the point is that it is the base of a simple Geeteck prusa 3D printer, just the most expansive with aluminium frame (298$) from China. http://www.geeetech.com/geeetech-aluminum-prusa-i3-3d-printer-kit-p-944.html

There is also a version with the frame acrylic that is cheaper. But from these guys you receive a box with 11 Kg of any kind of pieces. Then should be assembled and - we know - Chiense are not so good in manuals and support as well as to see all the settings that makes printing nice. This is not yet what I want due some imperfections, but what I should say is that the hardware base is essential but well done, precise and robust. The rest is to your own fantasy.

To be honest, I am thinking if it is the worth to publish some tips on how to obtain decent printings with a cheap normal and DIY printer. As in the Mill Machines, there are not so many points where things should be precise and should work fine. What I note is that all the guys that come crazy trying to see these printers working has very few knowledge of mechanics while this maybe very helpful.
