Instead, he helped pioneer a new minimally invasive procedure to remove it.
Another story from Gizmodo.com, Programmable DNA Glue Can Selectively 3D-Print Natural Materials, theorizes that the DNA coating in these materials may make it possible to create stuctures that might be the basis for organic objects like organs.
