What printer, what faults? Perhaps the community can help out ?
Namely the Velleman K8200 that was received through an element14 giveaway, probably something dodgy with the control board as there is no reading from one of the thermistors - already checked wires and resistance - it is all correct, so something is wrong between the wires and board. It's already been sent for repair once, came back with the same issue.
I've always been in awe with machines and their working. The robox makes music when it prints and I find myself just listening to it sing.
The same happened to me when I first started working with ESC and BLDC motors and together they sing scream and do the twist.
I made some robots in my free time a few years back and my office usually had one or two scurry bots running around trying to find light and dark spots Ina room.
Hopefully 3d printers will become faster and we won't have to listen to their entire song.
Though I know how long it will take to print a model, I still can't help watching its process, and touching it.
Although I know it might fail at any time I find it quite relaxing to watch, it's like meditation.
Yeah, that's what I want to express!
I've only had a chance to 3D print something once so far, i couldn't stop watching lol
i took a video (or tried to) so i could watch over and over
