Can anyone please please help,"how can I make my own extruder for my 3D printer"? Like a very simple one. It is for my school project that I've to wind up very soon. Thanks in advance,

Hi Suafel, I do not know much about 3D printing but sometimes an idea from a person ignorant of the subject can trigger ideas of your own. How about using a hot glue gun element where you control the temperature using PWM of a triac. John By the way welcome to the forum and it is good to have you as a contact.

An extruder consists of a motorized feed, a heater and a nozzle. The feed gear pushes filament into the nozzle which is heated by the heater. The heat must be controlled to melt the filament without getting too hot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52chDT-IAxw
