Projects sticking to my Build plate

I recently got a 3-D Printer...  a replicator 2.. I was beside myself with glee.  I am a Mechanical Engineer and this was the End-All, Be-All to have as an engineer.  Or so I thought.. then i started using my printer..  and my projects would get stuck to the build plate..  I tried the making certain my Build plate was level.. that helped a tiny bit.. I called Makerbot.. they saiud that was what the blue tape was for..  I saw that in my kit.. no documentation to tell me why iot was there... anyway.. I tried it..  as I tried to remove the item.. it would tear onlong the edges of whateve i built and then my project was not only stuck.. but glued to the build plate..   so I that for a bit..     Hey Anthony

    Interesting product.  The only thing I see you running into is that there are other alternatives that are cheaper.  For example spraying the build plate with hairspray or an acetone/abs mixture.  You are going to have really work on making sure people understand why yours is better than the alternatives.  Just a thought to help you out.

    well... I have MS  I got the 3D Printer because i was getting better after taking an experimental drug.. so I got one to try and once again be an engineer...  I encountered the issues with my printer..  I then came up with what I call 3 D EeZ   if you Google that.. you can see more... i also have a crowd funding thing going on..  it is hard trying to get off of disability when that is your only income...   http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/3d-printing-made-eezier/x/4585329    but i am trying.. thing is  this stuff is resuable and works great.. I actually tried spray starch and a few other things ..even elmers glue..  but then i came up with this stuff.. and it works great..   just need help getting things going..  I have made a 3-D Printed version of a strandbeest , which is a wind powered robot..   if you would like one...  have a go at helping me get funding to make this a good business...  Thank You

    Hey Anthony

    Good to see you getting your life back together on the new drug.  My mom has had MS for 16 years and can tell you that they now have the ability to slow and if not stop the disease from taking over.  My mom was unfortunate that at the time of her diagnoses the medication couldn’t stop the scarification from taking her ability to walk.  She is now confined to a wheel chair.

    Thank You... Yeah.. I am having difficulty with my Right leg...   when i get really tired... it drags a bit... My Doctor prescribed a Segway for me...  which is part of the reaso I needd to start a business..   To Get off of Disability.. I have a crowd funding thing going with http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/3d-printing-made-eezier/x/4585329    I am offering as perkes some of the stuff  i created.. but i can 3D Print a strandbeest.. a design that is mine.. similar to the one seen on YouTube...     if you could help spread the word it would be great.. I have just 7 days left and I barely got anythig...  I need the full amount i say...   to get my business going well...    I knoiw what you mean.. about the meds.. I have taken several of the new meds... Tysabri really helped..  but it is now toxic to me...   but it helped me get a lot better..  so now i can do this business..  cool    right...     I tried to go with something that was non-0toxic as well...    My stuff fits that bill very well... but i have not tried all those things... maybe..    Thanks for the insight
