How to 3d print an enclosure for electronics?

Dear: Element 14

I am trying to build an arduino detonator for some model rockets of mine and I need your help. See guys is that my detonator needs a container for the electronics and the electronics used need to do the following. It needs to have a lot of switches and those switches needs to be facing outward and the bottom end will need to face the PCB in the container. Next the container is going to need a place to store the PCB inside the container. Then it will need a lid to fix the electronics in case they are not working so can you please help me?

    I think the best way to go about your problem is to first figure out what electronics you are going to use and get them working.  Like you stated its going to need switches on the face of one side.  You will also need to figure out what kind of power supply is going to be required and what other requirements you see a need for.  Once this is all planned out then you can start to figure out what the best layout is for your needs.  Then design the case around that.  It would be hard for us to tell you if its going to work when we don't know what your layout/BOM your using.  Worst case is you could model a really big case that will have no issues fitting everything in.  Hope this gets you going.
