[CNC / 3D] Xylotex 3 Axis Stepper Driver board. What is this?

Hello all, I have been scratching my head for the past 4 weeks, no documentation found, their site is relentless to give up the info on such a thing though I haven't contacted them yet. I gather that it is a 3 Axis stepper motor driver board, looks somewhat generic, I have inserted a photo below. A fellow engineer of mine has one, however he picked it up at a hacker space and isn't entirely sure of the details. He does not have it any more as it is in a minature CNC of some form and glory that he built from scratch. Does anyone know anything about this board? I ideally would like to get one as I've heard it's pretty stable Alternatively can anyone recommend me a decent replacement? I have looked around for the generic 3 Axis board and other people's requests, however I want the most simple, least to go wrong (don't pick at that, I know, Murphy's law!), I'm looking for some decent output current, relatively small, and one that can have heatsinks/fans attached. If I am being a complete banana let me know as this is my first dive into actually building a CNC from scratch, the other ones I've built are all custom boards and stuff. Thanks in advance!

Just to update all those reading this topic, this is how far I am into creating the one by hand. Looking good, hand made entirely.

These images are just me messing around with different components seeing what works and doesnt so leeds are present for some things but not others, though I thought I'd upload them anyway. Thanks again to Clem for his help.

Will show the final one when it's done. Solder mask done with Spray can solder mask by Bungard (For those starting off I'd recommend it if you don't want to purchase the equipment such as UV boxes and stuff, and cover the traces you want bare with blutac, works really well, then I used a scalpel to stab and jab it off when it was sprayed on, cooked at 120*C for an hour and done image), it wore off a bit during it's curing phase though as I was handling it excessively right after it was finished cooking.

Will update soon! waiting on parts from farnell due to come today!
