Did anyone else make it to the TCT show at the NEC (UK) this week?
I went along and spoke to some of the people I'd bought parts off for my bodge-O-matic diy 3D printer. I saw quite a few 3D printing companies, and came away with a few filament samples. I also saw a few you-tubers which was weird, I didn't speak to any though, they all seemed quite busy and my time was a bit limited. I did speak to a couple of rep rappers, which was interesting, one of the printers had a 5 colour diamond hotend, and it was really interesting to hear about the build and iterations he'd gone through to get it working! I also spoke to a lad who was representing JetX Engineering - Home, (Are external links ok?) Which is a compressed air powered 3D printed jet engine. They are still running tests on it and how it performs, but if nothing else, it looks awesome!
Due to me being personally interested in 3D printing I could have spent more time "geeking out!" than looking at work stuff!
