It was a good start, but I would add a few things. I would make a list of the terms that you intend the class to learn and then refer to that list as you explain each. I would use more pictures to show…

Couple of suggestions: One: have Kirk use a lapel microphone on his shirt, it is hard to listen over time to a voice being echoed through the room to the camera mic. Two: please shoot the video in the…

    Hello all,

This post is to let you know that Kirk has had an accident that has temporarily rendered him unable to speak, so the rest of the videos in the class (3, 4 and 5) are also temporarily delayed. I will update you when we have more information.

Meanwhile, please feel free to leave well wishes for Kirk here. I'm sure he'll be happy to seen them when he gets back.

    Best,
    Lauren

I understand Element14 wanted to restrict the classes to registered members only, in order to develop their member community pool. Once I complete all of the lessons and some time has past, I will see if they mind my public posting of the individual lessons via YouTube or Vimeo.

Lost Plastic fabrication works well, although slightly more time may be required while the melted thermoplastic is displaced in comparison to lost wax casting, where the higher volatility can result in some wax escaping as vapor. Some very good work is being done now using Bismuth alloys directly poured into ABS plastic molds to produce small figurines (Reference: Metal Casting by CosmoWenman - Thingiverse).
