Assuming this is your first printer and you want to be able to do larger print sizes get a FDM printer. 1.75 mm is more common for hobbyist printers at least where I am. So there you go, 1.75 mm FDM. That is, if my assumptions hold :-)

so this is my second machine but i'm not sure what i want to buy because i will be using this for stem education
PS my first machine is an ender 3
