Yep, seen many computers with a single fan (or none), and the way the question is worded makes it sounds like it's an absolute.

It's true that in and out air chilling setup is recommended, but all out, all in and zero fan build do exist

Or better yet, an e-ATX motherboard. The motherboard itself would probably be as big as the case.

Hehe #14 is questionable. Also worth getting the yellow dummy plug shown in the photo below (i.e. country-specific version) in case you're working in an area without a grounding point (often soldering stations will have a suitable point).

The lighter-blue strap on the right is better than the one to its left. The darker strap tends to loosen since it is held by friction, whereas the other one has a locking clip.

I had a metal one but misplaced that : (

I use the ESD strap when prototyping too, because it saves destroying components, especially MOSFETs. ESD tweezers are great too.

Yes - we have had some high-performance XT computers at school which after turning on turbo were making digger game unplayable (way too fast - optimized for 8MHz 8088 it seems)
