Looking for an HDMI Connector for my Pi

Former Member
Former Member over 12 years ago

Hey all,

Sorry if this doesn't go here.  This was the only forum that specially had Raspberry Pi in the description.

Element14 has a connector called 'NEUTRIK - NAHDMI-W - HDMI CONNECTOR, RECEPTACLE, 19POS, PANEL'.  It would work great with my Raspberry Pi project but I was hoping to find something lighter duty.

The plan is to make a Commodore 64/TI 99 like device with either a BeagleBoard or a Raspberty Pi as the processor modify a POS keyboard to fit into the case.  My secondary plan to make a basic game system that will play either Python or web based games (through Midori.)

Thanks

The idea is to get all the connection at the back like said 8-bit systems. I scrounge USB faceplate and connector from my PC parts bin but HDMI, not so such. Also, thanks for the reply. I'll make sure…

The main RasPi discussions are at: http://www.element14.com/community/groups/raspberry-pi.

People usually mount RasPi so that its HDMI connector is accessible to the Outside World.  That way you just plug in a standard HDMI cable.  What are you trying to do differently?
