Description:
I built a 7-segment name badge to show off my Twitter username, pdp7, at events. It looked great indoors but the LEDs couldn't compete with the sun outdoors. I can across SparkFun's ePaper display which is daylight readable like a Kindle e-reader and decided to build another name badge.
Since I can display two lines of 10 characters, I am to display both my full name and my Twitter username. The ePaper display is driven by a SparkFun breakout board which is controlled by an Arduino Pro Mini. The Arduino sketch for my name badge resides in the repository linked above. The ZIP link provides a direct download of the latest version.
