What language would you like to see on a 64 bit Rasbian for Pi 3?

I am considering a setup for Rasbian on Pi 3 in 64 bit mode. But I need help to consider what language you want for building on it.

Also, beware if you are going to make a distro for public consumption. A poorly thought out distro will raise the ire of the community Is Linux Mint a crude hack of existing Debian-based distributions…

Why would you be limited? If it's raspbian, it should have the support of the debian arm packages. Then you would just apt-get install whatever you want.

Or are you actually talking about making your own distro with a 64 bit kernel, and starting with raspbian as a baseline?

One thing, you may want to look at the ubuntu distros for arm and see what you can leverage off of that. Having the apt-get tooling is very handy and it keeps from reinventing the wheel. Ubuntu is based on debian, but it is important to ensure that your distro has the ability to get all the latest security updates.

This is a good resource: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/RootfsFromScratch

I referred to it when I made an ubuntu system for my RIoT board a few years ago.

There are other good resources to be found by googling around a bit.
