SKEDD Connectors an Introduction.

Soldering and press-fit was yesterday but the future is SKEDD’s direct plug-in technology. The SKEDD contacts are produced using a stamping technology. They can be designed with two or four arms (in folded design). Whereas press-fit technology with solid pins results in VIA deformation, and press-fit technology with flexible pins results in pin deformation, direct plug-in technology with SKEDD contacts results in no deformation.

SKEDD connectors are easy to use to plug or unplug on the PCB board they have locking pins, Wire can be connected to connectors by crimp or push-in contacts instead of soldering or screwing to terminals. It is also easy to remove the wires from connectors by opening the locks. The locking system is available for wires and connectors is the advantage to use them in our next designs. their are various types  of connections from low to high range voltage, current, frequency applications.
