It has been decades since I used this CPC series - back when AMP was a separate company, but I don't think there is an interchangeable metal equivalent. At the time most metal connectors had a much finer pitch thread. I have since seen some metal connectors with a wide pitch like this, but I don't think the ones I saw were intended to mate to this series of plastic connectors. I can remember being curious about this exact question though.
