Hello
I'm a hobbyist and my experience is limited so please feel free to state the obvious if I'm missing it!
I have a manufactured PCB which has six single rows of four through holes at 2.54 mm pitch (http://www.coolcomponents.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=264). They are spaced quite far apart. These need to connect to a homebrew board with matching connections. I want to keep things modular so I don't want to solder permanent connectors nor do I want to merge connections at either end. I want receptacles/sockets/pins on both boards and 4 way ribbon cables with single row headers at either end ... I've searched and searched but I can't see the wood for the trees! This must be simple? In lay terms I want something-like-the-IDE-cable-in-a-computer-but-only-four-ways-and-single-row ... oh and at 2.54 pitch. Help please!
