Help Identifying Connector

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of trying to fit a USB device (RFID Reader) inside of a commercial photocopier. I'm managed to find the USB controller on the motherboard and I've traced a cable that is used for USB, however I'm having difficulty identifying the connector on the end of the cable. I'd like to find the male equivalent of the connector to avoid having to cut the wires and solder to a USB cable.

I've taken a couple of pictures of the connector and would be eternally grateful if anyone within the community can identify the connector and male variant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you do not have any more details/information on the connector? Best would be pitch, polarity, ...!

The connector itself is kind of blurry in the pictures. Maybe a few more close-up pictures with different angles and views help as well, but I think it´s quite tricky in general to just tell from the pictures what it is.

Instead of using the other end for that same connector it would be quite a bit easier to use two pairs of four pin male and female in in line connectors and solder them in in the place of this one it would work the same and it is very simple to solder and it would not damage the device if that is what you are worried about.
