Will this translate to other ARM based platforms? Recently, Qualcomm revealed plans to join the mini desktop world. At CES 2025, Lenovo revealed two of its mini PCs, the ThinkCentre Neo 50q and IdeaCentre Mini X. These will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X series chips, offering Copilot Plus PC functionality. Starting at $659.99, Lenovo’s IdeaCentre Mini X will be available this April. Meanwhile, the ThinkCentre neo 50q QC has a $849 selling price and will be available in February.

Lenovo’s IdeaCentre Mini x PC can handle productivity tasks without producing noise and is ideal for those in the creative field. At the front, it comes with a power button, a headphone jack, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. Meanwhile, the back includes two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a USB-A 2.0 port, a USB-C 4 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and an Ethernet port. The IdeaCentre Mini x PC features a built-in power supply and two fans to cool the system. Owners can also easily switch out parts as the unit has an easy-to-open case.
The system uses a base Snapdragon X chip or the Snapdragon X Plus and has up to 1TB of storage and up to 32GB of RAM. This mini-computer also has Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Meanwhile, small and medium businesses can use the ThinkCentre neo 50q. This machine has similar features, including the chip---either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon or the X Plus. However, only 16GB of RAM can be integrated. The front of this system features one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, a power button, and a headphone jack. In the back, it has two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port, and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection. The ThinkCentre neo 50q has Wi-Fi6E connectivity.
