New Proteus Libraries for Engineering Students

Hello friends, we have designed many Proteus Libraries on our blog The Engineering Projects which are not yet developed and we are really very proud that we are the first designers for these Proteus Libraries. I am gonna share all those Proteus Libraries in this instructable so that Engineering Students can download them and use them in their Projects.

I have also designed their videos in which I have explained in detail How to use these Proteus Libraries. So, you can join our You Tube Channel to have a look at these Proteus Libraries. Here are the links:

  • Our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbVgl6VOoqgq8FalMq6vikw
  • Our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/theengineeringprojects

So, let's get started with these New Proteus Libraries for Engineering Students:

Step 1: Links to Download New Proteus Libraries

Don't these already exist, but minus the website URL on each graphical component? Comparison:

Perhaps shabaz is referrign to this statement we are really very proud that we are the first designers for these Proteus Libraries Mark

Exactly that, @junaid, this was confusing because they already exist.

    Hi Dubbie,

It might be worth testing out before paying for it.. just as an opinion (very subjective) I feel it's pretty rotten software : ) It's got one minor competitive advantage as I understand, which is that it can sort-of simulate some microcontrollers, which perhaps was ideal for colleges where they may not have many real dev-boards to allocate to students.

This was maybe useful in a time when students needed to write in assembler, but nowadays the lowest-level language is often C, so there's no need to simulate, since C can be compiled to run on the PC directly.

The other features of Proteus are no better (and I think worse) than other software, some of which is free (e.g. SPICE programs like TINA-TI or LTspice, and  schematic entry and PCB design software like KiCAD maybe).

    Shabaz,

Proteus may have these drawbacks, but it's one major advantage for me is that I already know how to use it as I have used it for about10 years. Unfortunately for me there does not seem to be a cheap legal version - which was one of the problems with me I used it at work. I just hoped that perhaps things had changed, but it appears not.

It looks like I'll have to learn one of the the free or low cost schematic capture and PCB layout packages.

    Hi Dubbie,

Oh! I'm sorry, I'd not realised you had already spent time using it, that is a major advantage as you say.
