Personally, I'd say 'No, not for me.' - I can see the short term benefits of these drugs, but who knows what the long term effects will be?
To me it kinda feels like people that take these drugs are cheating - it's not their natural ability they are exercising, but rather it's an artificial aid. A bit like wearing flippers in a swimming competition!
Having flippers in a swimming contest is the whole point. They want an advantage over their peers. The ability to create more, do more, to catapult themselves to the success they strive to obtain. I would like to see further studies to find out if professionals taking stimulants has helped their career any. If it's anything like the sport world, I would assume it has helped.
