    Hi Engguzman,

C as a language is used by lots of different people and microcontrollers. I’ve not seen any tutorials aimed at learning C and PIC’s as yet. I would suggest its a bit of a attack on two fronts; the language and the micro itself.

From a language point of view there is a really good set of videos you can find on youTube under COMP1917 done by Richard Buckland. These teach you about the ‘thinking’ on being a software engineer but as part of the process you will learn C codeing too via examples. There area  lot of video’s, some 40 hours and some of it it taken up with university chit chat but is a good place to start.

I’d then start looking at example code that you can download from microchip – they have lots of comments and you can learn for it. Then it’s a case of just doing it.

There are some books out there but I can’t say i have actually used any of them but this one looks like it would help > http://www.elproducts.com/embeddedcbook.htm

    Hope that helps, Paul :o)
