I guess that the introductory pricing is no longer available at farnell.co.uk, the price is listed at £9.95. Since it doesn't appear to have been introduced yet, the "introductory" pricing seems quite short lived.
You were too slow Bob, I bought 4 on 4th October for £3.76 each. I seem to recall that they had hundreds in stock at that time so I think the offer was reasonable.

Oh well, never mind. It is not like I don't have plenty of other boards I can use. I just won't be using Stellaris...
Even at the current price it's still a fair bit cheaper than an Arduino. And who knows, they might have another promotion at some point.
I just recieved my Stellaris Launchpad this week. The TI Store had my delivery date set for 9 November, so they must be working through their backlog pretty quick.
Now all I have to do is find time to play with it. I am really eager to see how it will work with the EvalBot Stellaris. Lots of computing power on a mobile platform.
Keep an eye on the TI Deals website. They put all kinds of development boards on sale for a short time. You can subscribe to their feed and get advanced notice.
Just a thought,

Check out TI's MCU BoosterPack design challenge
BoosterPacks are little plug-in modules for various TI LaunchPads. If I had more time, I'd do an FPGA module for the contest. OTOH, I'm in the Bay Area so I'd rather leave the free trip to San Jose to someone who needs it... so go ahead and borrow my idea.
