For my Dragonboard project I'm repurposing an old USB Webcam and it comes with a rather long cable.
I was wondering if there are any issues with shortening a screened USB cable? It comes with some ferrite beads at both ends. I preume that I'd just replace those on the shorter cable? It's currently about a 1.8m and I intend to bring it down to about 20cm.
