Removing silkscreen from ICs

What could I use to remove silkscreen labeling from ICs, wafers, and laminates without destroying whatever I am cleaning? This is for no particular reason, just a curiosity.

usualy I use the nail polish remover with cloth. this don't destroy the PCB.

Antonino,

Acetone or MEK, nail polish remover, is an excellent option. I did a little research on it, and it seems like a non destructive choice.

Anyone try brush on epoxy?
