ARM board with LCD

Former Member
Former Member over 15 years ago

Hi,

I am planning to work on ARM core processor, so I am searching for a kit, Which manufacturer will be good to startup and which core should I start with ? Kit should have graphical LCD interfaced.  Also suggest me with necessary software/ compilers. Thank you.

Regards,

Chethan

    Hi,

There are a lot of option you can fallow. I recommend you starting from ARM7 Mcu's. Olimex has starter kits and dev kits with reasonable prices. You may also prefer using Cortex-M3 Mcu's, too. I bough ST Primer2 kit from Farnell and its cost was quite acceptable. Together with the hardware you get programming and debugging opportunities with no extra cost and limitations.

There are lots of things to say and it is up to your initial thoughts about what you intend to do witha starter kit.
