3A+ 3Phase Motor Controller

Question

IC based brushless 3-phase motor controllers are on the rise, though I am not sure what is available past remote control airplane drive circuitry.

I want an IC that has the commutation functions built in, H-bridge built it, and anything above that would be welcomed icing on the cake.

One requirement, I need 3A+ on each phase.

What is available these days?

If you can afford the board space and want 5-10A, the Maxon DEC 50/5 OEM module is one option for sensored motors. Though not an IC, it is an integrated module that is relatively compact.

It has some very nice features, runs up to 50V, and requires almost no external components.
