Electronica is only few days away. Come and stop either at the Farnell booth or at the Freescale booth and you will get a chance to see the first Kenetis MCUs demo.

We are also working on a nice proposal to reward the element-14 fan. Stay tuned ! More to come tomorrow.

Available demos will be following :

Single phase eMeter demo running on Kinetis K40 :

Demonstration the K40 series mixed signal, DSP and connectivity capabilities enabling accurate measurement of main powered electricity and displaying the results. Learn how the new DSP capabilities can be harnessed to optimize power measurement calculations. With an integrated segment LCD display, the K40 provides a single chip solution for 1Ph eMeters.

    Jive box demo

Come and see the new Kinetis microcontrollers interface with an iPad, a web server and driving motors at the same time while running on Freescale MQX RTOS. This demo leverages the DSP features set, integrated timers and mixed signal capability for motor control and the communications interfces for the web server and the iPad connection. On top of this, you will see with the demonstration, the benefit of the Freescale MQX RTOS which has been implemented as well as the Freescale eGUI, a free to use graphical library for graphical display solutions.

    Kinetis enablement

The Kinetis family is supported by an industry leading enablement bundle that includes Freescale's in house offering including CodeWarrior 10.0, the free of charge Freescale MQX and other complementary solutions such as the Touch sensing SW solution, eGUI and much more. The family also enables developers to leverage the broad ARM 3rd party ecosystem to provide developers with the broadest choice of tools chains. On Freescale booth, you can see demonstrations from Freescale solutions but also from key 3rd parties such as IAR and Green Hills.

Looking forward to meeting you either on Farnell booth or on Freescale one next week.
