we need a resin to encapsulate some electronic device that will work outside so need to be resistence to humidity and water. I have found this

Words of caution:- Consider following things for the material should you choose:- Water-proof Fire-proof (not as much but its melting point shouldn't be low) Conductivity Beware of the water based caulks, they works when their water evaporates so water might get trapped inside of your circuit and that is something you don't want. Also, beware of the RTV with vinegar smells they tend to be corrosive in long terms.So be careful whatever you choose. I've seen silicon based materials just working fine & I'm also aware of the enclosures(who doesn't). But my best bet & simple choice will be what clem57 suggested.Also, if you choose to use enclosure beware of the moister that will remain trapped inside the box. How about using a moisture absorbing bag inside it & sealing it with anything may be silicon based caulking mudz

Many of the circuit boards used in dental equipment have a coating of clear epoxy paint. These boards are used in sterilizers and other equipment that are in close contact to water and steam. They seem to work well for extended periods of time. Here is an example where you can see the layer of coating. In some instances the coating is even thicker. I don't know if this would be applicable to your situation but the coating directly on the board eliminates the possibility of pockets of trapped liquid or moisture. John

Here is a link to some conformal coating available from Farnell / Newark http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1765664.pdf It might be easier to work with than the two part epoxy you were looking at. John
