Looking for NPNs Array

Former Member
Former Member over 15 years ago

Hello everybody.

I used NPN (BC817-25      from NXP) but i have now 15 NPN to only one board, i'd like to regroup every NPNs by NPN arrays.

My NPN pilot relays.

So, in fact, MCU drives NPN' base, there is each relay on rach collecter and all the emitter are connected to the ground.

Do you know what can i choose ? Because i don't find anything.

Thank you;

Regards,

Florent

    I would suggest one of the MMPQ3904 or the MMPQ2222AMMPQ2222A. However, I offer some cautions. These devices may or may not work in your circuit because collector breakdown voltage on these is 40V compared with 45V for the BC317-25 and the forward current gain (beta) is a minimum of 100 (no maximum stated) at 10 mA for these compared with 160 to 400 at 100 mA for the BC317-25. You will have to make the evaluation for yourself as to whether these devices are satisfactory for your application.

    Good luck!

    Hi Florent,

    BC846U NPN / BC856U PNP (the current specs are not identical 100mA vs 500mA but maybe sufficient for you)

    Best regards, Enrico Migchels

    I  think the best replacement are two ULN2003A. Of course you should review the project, possibly eliminating  some of the passive components!

    Best Regards,

    Mario
