Hi,

Im new to electronics, but am very intrested to make a few things as a hobby. This comes from watching shows such as The Ben Heck Show and an old Revision3 show Systm. As a recommendation I have bought the book "Understanding Basic Electronics" but I don't know where to go from here, does anyone have any recommendations for projects suited for beginners?

Thanks in advance, Adam.

    Hi Adam,

You can contact radio amateurs in your neighbourhood or a local department of RSGB.

    See http://www.rsgb.org/committees/regional/

There you will find people interested in radio and electronics who are willing to help you.

They also give training’s for the amateur radio licence. Even if you don’t want to become a radio amateur this will help you to know more about electronics.

Publications from amateur radio clubs like RSGB and ARRL are also very helpful.
