Hi, I am a Beginner

Hi,

Im new to electronics, but am very intrested to make a few things as a hobby. This comes from watching shows such as The Ben Heck Show and an old Revision3 show Systm. As a recommendation I have bought the book "Understanding Basic Electronics" but I don't know where to go from here, does anyone have any recommendations for projects suited for beginners?

Basic used classroom books (hardcover, you'll go back to them over and over)...sorry I cannot recommend the one's I have...they are currently on loan to my daughters 17 yr old boyfriend.

As you go through the illustrations, I also highly recommend downloading the free student version of SaberRD, search the goog. (there is also 5Spice and PSpice)...
This will provide you with the very important skill of using simple, yet very powerful ckt simulation software, which is an excellent way to play, design and test your works (as well as duplicate the book lessons, reinforcements)
