Hi,
As one of my first build, I would like to build a power supply based on an ATX power supply. The output voltages are 3.3V, 5V, 12V and -12V. I was thinking of using two binding posts, one for ground and the other one for the voltage. I thought of using a rotary switch with 4 positions to select what type of current I want to output, is this a good idea? Most seem to either support very low current (I guess I would need to go for an heavy duty one?) or have a ton of pins, I thought that 4 positions would only require something like 5 pins, 4 inputs and 1 output?
Thank you in advance
Eric
PS.: this is also my first post, so I hope it's in the right forum and I follow the guidelines
