As long as the Arduino board is based on an atmega328, why shouldn't it be? I mean, execution of intructions written into atmega328 memory are based on the clock speed setup, by default 16MHz through external crystal or internal osc. 8MHz, 4MHz and 1MHz setup by the fuses.
