what are the mean linear component and nun linear component?
linear component, one where if you double the input (applied voltage) the output (current) also doubles:
examples: resistors, capacitors and inductors
non-linear component, where the output is not so simply related to the input:
examples diodes, transistors, LEDs, MOSFETs
