ECM motor module repair

imageimageHi guys I need help to fix my ECM blower motor module. It third time I am replacing motor on my water heater tank that works on natural gas. Each time the motor cost me 1850$ plus the labour to replace it.
The motor runs on 120v and speed regulated by contrôler by giving 36v duty cycle. The problem with the motor module is that it is stuck on high speed which is 100% duty cycle. I am sure it is one of the components on the module is defective that can replace to fix the problem. I don’t know how to upload the pictures.

I think so too. But these company make a lot of money on these part. First they sell you expensive appliances and then they rip you off on parts. Take a look at my receipt.

That certainly doesn't look like an $1850 value part !

First of all, tell us about make and model of the heater and the blower. Maybe there is some information on the web about why they fail.

After that you are going to need much better pictures showing the components in the motor assembly. If this is a dead one there is little to loose by taking it apart.

Unlesss you can get service information you'll need to look for visibly damaged or overheated parts.

Then it gets hard, to fault find something like this needs some proper test gear unless we get very lucky.

You really need to sanitize such posts and remove details. You have provided information that opens you up to being targeted. Look at the invoice and ask yourself is there any personally identifiable information on this document?

As a former IT Security Specialist, I'm hyper sensitive to data spills and implications.
