500 V 18 ampere DC switch

I have a string of PV panels with 500 volts and 18 amp DC , i need to switch it between two inverters ( Grid tie) and ( hybrid). i want on condition one to switch array to one inverter and condition 2 to switch array to inverter 2. I also need a gap of at least half a second between one switching off and other switching on..

inverter one is grid tie and i want it to have panels all the time , except when utility goes out. it stops functioning, in which case i want panels to be shifted to hybrid inverter, ie inverter 2. after a delay of ..5 to 1 second. again when utility is back i need it to break panel contact to inverter 2 the hybrid, wait .5 to a second and switch the array to inverter 1, Grid tie.

i need a circuit. tried scratching my head, but , i think i am too rusty now.

    Why not have two relays - one mains NO which drops out when mains cuts out (say a TE/Tyco/Schrack RM805730 25A) , then a delay then the second with a DC coil cuts in after your delay. Just drive the second relay with a single FET from logic (?) and an RC timer and cuts out if the mains goes "high" (rectified and potted-down to give this reference). Simple?

    There are timing relays available, tho needing some form of control power for the relays and/or contactor coils.
