Is there an aftermarket device that can be added to a Superior Electric Powerstat variable transformer 1296DU that can digitally adjust the voltage wheel effectively making it an autotransformer?

    You can make single phase 280/240 or series single phase 400/480/600.

    You can be connected as three phase Y/D in 400/480/600 or 3P 208/240

    Voltage hand Wheel has to be removed for non manual operation, but care have to be taken for radiator; I think it can be easily removed.

    For automatic like digital, synchronous motor drive with speeds 5 to 60 or  VFD.

    You can connect  any

    • Generator,
    • Numerical based MCCB
    • UPS
    • PFC
    • Capacitor Banks
    • PCU
    • Stepup
    • synchronous motor drive
    • VFD

    In all these, it would be digital and automatic voltage control as it is variable autotransformer.
