I have an XBox One S with the following symptoms, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to narrow down the problem component/s Unit powers up with no problem if the HDMI cable is not plugged in. Soon as I plug in the HDMI cable it shuts off I have checked the connector and it is in good shape with no obvious faults I can plug the cable into the XBox but not the TV and it will boot fine. Soon as I plug it into the TV it shuts down I have checked for shorts around the re-timer chip and can't find any So any suggestions how I should proceed from here?

XBox One S Powers down when HDMI Plugged in.

I have an XBox One S with the following symptoms, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to narrow down the problem component/s

Unit powers up with no problem if the HDMI cable is not plugged in. Soon as I plug in the HDMI cable it shuts off
- I have checked the connector and it is in good shape with no obvious faults
I can plug the cable into the XBox but not the TV and it will boot fine.
- Soon as I plug it into the TV it shuts down
I have checked for shorts around the re-timer chip and can't find any

So any suggestions how I should proceed from here?
