    Have you checked the product specification sheet? What part of the spec were you unsure about? Only you know your full requirements (which you've not revealed), so you need to check against the spec sheet…

    He's referring to a PT-104 logger. The logger does not need pairing with any chip. It directly accepts probes.

    We have used a PT 100 based temperature sensor in our project. To improve accuracy you need to pair it with a chip like this one learn.adafruit.com/.../overview

    My bad. I saw the words PT104 and temperature together and assumed it is similar to PT100 and PT1000 standard sensor. I should have checked.
