did the switch measure ok before someone tried to get the switch apart..

Buongiorno a tutti voi, l'interruttore l'ho smontato io in quanto si era rotto la leva nera che vedete nera .

This should be a separate topic because the original topic creator is discussing something different.
For your switch, you should measure the dimensions, and then check farnell.co.uk (or your country specific farnell site) for a switch of approximately similar size. It looks like there are three metal contacts in your photo, so that would be a "SPDT" switch although if only two connections are made to wires, then a "SPST" switch would also be compatible. It's called a SPDT or SPST "slide switch". You need to check that the replacement supports 125VAC 3A minimum, and 125VDC 0.5A minimum (higher values are fine).
